Joining a highly skilled, autonomous, cross-functional team of engineers, designers and product owners, who utilise a range of backend related tools to achieve their goals.
You will work as an engineer; building and scaling a distributed system focusing on user value and business objectives. The microservices platforms are written in Scala & Clojure, following functional programming principles and connected with event streams.
You will plan, design and build intelligent back-end solutions, bind these solutions to front-end infrastructure and then monitor, test and continuously improve the solutions.
Your responsibilities will also include driving both product and technical improvements; encouraging debate and collaboration and communicating your ideas and successes to the wider team.
- Backend software engineering with hands-on experience in building distributed systems in a multi-language environment.
- Demonstrable experience with REST and asynchronous event-driven programming.
- CI/CD experience
- Can evidence driving automation across build, test and release processes.
